Although North Carolina Magician Michael Douglas is based in the Raleigh-Durham area, he also performs comedy magic shows in other counties and cities throughout North Carolina. This includes Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Chapel Hill, Rocky Mount, Fayetteville, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Burlington, Hillsborough, Fort Bragg, Clayton, Zebulon, Smithfield, Goldsboro, Henderson, Creedmore, Wilson, and others. Mr. Fantastic also entertains at events in Virginia.

Our courses can be set up indoors or outdoors, wherever you see fit!

Each hole measures approximately 8 feet by 30 inches. Generally, a space approximately 4 x 10 feet is appropriate for each hole, providing golfers with adequate access around each hole for easier putting. Because of the individual nature of the holes, our setup offers a lot of flexibility: holes can be spaced in one large indoor area, like a gym or banquet room, spread out in hallways, or set up in individual rooms. Outdoors, spaces like lawns, driveways, and sports courts work well. Another consideration is that mini golf works best on surfaces that are as flat and level as possible. We also need a clean surface, so outdoors on dirt is not possible. (real grass, fake grass, rock, cement, asphalt, etc., are all fine)

Everyone loves mini golf! We can present mini golf at all kinds of events—children’s and adult birthdays, holiday parties, picnics, churches, school carnivals, fairs and festivals, fundraisers, corporate events, and more.

The course can fit through a standard 36-inch-wide door, but a larger door is helpful. Because of the size of the rolling racks that carry the course and obstacles, we need adequate space to maneuver them into place. Please reach out to our office, and we’ll be happy to assist with setup and access questions, particularly if stairs, elevators, or a long distance from the delivery truck to the setup location are required.

No Worries! Our sets are 100% waterproof, even the LED lighting!

If you are hosting a nighttime event or an indoor “LED golf” experience, the holes will arrive already charged and remain illuminated for up to 6 hours without recharging. If your rental is a multi-day event, you will need to charge overnight using a standard outlet.

Yes! Everyone from 3 on up loves mini golf. Our inventory of putters includes toddler, children’s, and adult-size clubs, and the hole challenge levels accommodate golfers of all ages.

Typically, it takes 15-30 minutes for setup and about the same for teardown.

If you need to cancel, please email the cancellation to michael@michaeldouglasmagic.com at least 4 weeks before your scheduled event to receive a refund of your deposit. This allows others interested in that same date to enjoy the performances that Comedy Kids Magic shares. The deposit for cancellations with less than 4 weeks’ notice will be applied to a future date to be negotiated between Comedy Kids Magic and the client. The deposit is forfeited if the rescheduled performance date falls more than 3 months after the original date.

For fairs and festivals, if the Client requires an outdoor performance, and the outdoor performance is canceled because of rain or other inclement weather, the Performer agrees to perform on the same date and time indoors, or at the Performer’s sole discretion, at a later time on the same day outdoors. Such agreement is contingent on the Performer’s other performance obligations that day. Whatever the circumstances, the Performer shall be paid one hundred percent (100%) of the agreed fee, whether the performance is canceled, played indoors, or postponed to a later time on the same day or to an entirely different date. Due to other possible performance commitments on the same day as your event, a delayed start of the show at the client’s request may result in a shorter show with no change in the fee. 

Golf course capacity is measured by “players per hour.” Everyone plays at a different speed, but generally speaking, a 9-hole course can accommodate approximately 40 players every 20-30 minutes. Playing 9 holes takes the average group of 4 about 20 minutes.
